A walk is so much more than just exercise—it’s one of the most important parts of a dog’s day.
Just like people, dogs benefit from getting out of the house to clear their minds, explore new surroundings, and enjoy a change of scenery. Every walk provides both physical exercise and the mental stimulation dogs naturally crave. They experience the world one sniff at a time, taking in new sights, sounds, and scents that help keep their minds active and engaged.
Harleys Hounds offers 30-minute and 60-minute private dog walking sessions, giving your dog one-on-one attention while exploring their neighborhood or a nearby park.
Where We Walk
Most walks take place in your dog’s neighborhood so they can enjoy the sights and smells they’re familiar with. If walking in your neighborhood isn’t a safe option due to a lack of sidewalks, heavy traffic, or an area where loose dogs are frequently encountered, we’ll travel to a local park instead. A small travel fee may apply depending on the distance.
The Benefits of Regular Walks
Regular walks can help your dog:
• Reduce stress, anxiety, and boredom
• Sleep more soundly
• Build stronger muscles and healthier bones
• Support heart health and overall cardiovascular fitness
• Maintain a healthy weight
• Lower blood pressure
• Increase confidence through exploration and enrichment
• Improve overall behavior by providing an outlet for physical and mental energy
• Live a healthier, happier, and potentially longer life
Every walk is tailored to your dog’s age, energy level, and individual needs. Whether your pup enjoys a leisurely stroll filled with sniffing opportunities or a more active pace, our goal is to provide a safe, enriching experience they’ll look forward to every time.
Because sometimes the best thing you can give a dog isn’t just exercise—it’s an adventure.
